However, for this assignment, you need to select nine things from your huge long list. Nine things that you feel truly DEFINE the person that you are, or in other words, without them... You just wouldn't be the person that you are. Make a list of these nine things and consider them carefully!
As you are thinking and pondering this list, consider what kinds of photos you have or you could take that would capture or illustrate these nine things. They may be photos that you already have.

Walked along the beach yesterday with my sister and realized something, I have become my mother in some ways! I use to get mad at my mom or wonder why "Aunt" or "Uncle" so and so wasn't really related at all and where were my real Uncles, Aunts and Grandparents.  Funny thing is, my kids have that now, They have "Grandparents" that aren't related at all.  I smile when I think about it now and realize why my mom did it.  Family isn't about who your related to, its who you surround yourself with who loves you and who protects you and your children.  I have protected my kids from "relatives" that I know will bring my children harm and would much rather have so to speak, adoptive relatives that will show so much more love and I dont have to worry about them harming my children in any way.  So kudos to my mom, sorry I didnt say thanks while you were alive for teaching me such a valueable lesson about family.  Oh and by the way Mom, if your up there and reading this, I didn't get one agate rock, and your grandkids got my curse, they kept finding sugar stones thinking they were the real deal!! ( but sister Janee got three of course!!) 

Growing Up So Fast

Took lots of pictures this weekend and heres one of each of my kids from Kloeys birthday party yesterday.......three kids, three very different personalities.....can you guess which has what personality? Theres a playful one, a jokerster and a serious one in the bunch......quite obvious :)

I actually have uploaded some pictures not only from Mexico, but I also made an album for the Croptime Retreat and also one of the pics I took the other day of myself.....if you see one you think I should use for the SB website, let me know which one :) Alright, I'm on a roll, out to do some organizing out in the garage :) Have a great Saturday ya'all.

NSD Thoughts

It's just about to strike 1:00am, I just filled about 20 orders from over the weekend.  For some reason I guess I can't just stop at filling a few, I have to do all or none.  I will do all the shipping labels tomorrow and they will go out Tuesday morning for you all :)  I was just bummed I couldn't finish with the pre-orders but at least I have them ready for when TT stamps and those yummy RF stamps show up in a few weeks. 

Anyway, I was just sitting here thinking about this weekend, about how much fun I had at SB yesterday, and how much I had fun gabbin' with Karen and Kristin afterwards.  It was so funny, we had all good intentions to scrap afterwards, I even started to exacto knife this layout (don't even go there, I was suppose to be doing "simple" but I was on a mission impossible again) before I knew it, Karen, Kristin and myself were laughing hysterically for two hours having the best time and I realized, scrapbooking isn't really about the paper is it? Come on, its really about being with friends and sharing memories and laughing and having a great time.  Its not quite the same when your scrapping alone or we wouldn't have NSD would we?  So in a sense it really should be "National Friends Scrappin' Together Day" Hey I sorta like that.  Oh I know its way to long but when was I even known to be short winded anywho? (wink)

Alright this girl is rambling........Just thought I'd share a beautiful picture of Kristin I took at the Retreat this last weekend.   Oh yeah, a message to Len, your wife would do wonders with this camera, you too of course (wink) you did fab on our photos.....so come on, treat you and your wife to something nice.....need incentive, just look at your cute boys :)

National Scrapbook Day....

Is May 6th......Did you know.....How could you not :) Come join us for some fun over at Scrappers Bliss! Oh come on now, what else you gonna do? Karen has planned some fabulous challenges, games and prizes and well, I will even attempt to type while my eyes are dialated after my eye doc appt (you can count my typos for fun)....that could be amusing in itself.  One time I had them dialated they stayed that way for over 8 hours.  So come on, join me for a lot of fun, a lot of laughs, and lots of good memories. (no dishes, no laundry, have hub take the kids to the park for a few hours or something and just relax and unwind with just you and your scrappin' supplies.....sigh, doesn't that just sound wonderful :)  www.scrappersbliss.com.  See you there!!
