The Beauty of Snow

Have you ever noticed how snow changes the looks of everything? I love when we have snow on the trees and in the yard.  Everything is so beautiful and pretty.  For some reason it makes me think of what Heaven might ever so slightly be like.....you know white and so pure. (well thats how I always thought of it as a kid) I'm really funny about my yard, I let the kids run allover the backyard but really don't want the frontyard stomped all over, I want it left untouched until it melts away.  I love the look of the house from the front with snow on the rooftop, on the bushes and in the grass.  I noticed today someone walked through the front yard.......hummmmm.

Here are some pictures I took of the kids yesterday.  I tried so hard to get photos of them together for a Christmas card. I think I've resigned to getting photos of them seperate and photoshoppin' them together.  I might try one more time in front of the Christmas Tree.  Running out of time though.

For The Love of Sheep......

and the Evergreen Fair! I forgot about these photos until Stacey was talking about a science project she had to "perform" on a Sheeps body part with her daughter this morning. (eek) Anyhow, every year we go to the Evergreen State Fair, we head straight to the Yummo food.  Always the BBQ Sandwiches, Pizza, Scones, Ice Cones, Elephant Ears and Fresh Lemonade.  Later always comes the Dipped Ice Cream cones in nuts.  YUMMOOOO!! Then we check out the farm animals, pigs, cows, chickens, rabbits, the whole barn load. Finally the kids dare to try out new rides and battle the lines.  Finally, its to the parking lot and HWY 2 for about an hour afterwards of wall to walls cars.  But we wouldn't stop going for nothing.

By the way, this post is for you Stacey, hope todays "project" went well and you will still be able to look at a sheep and go, bahhhhhhh.

Amazing Yet...... True

I have come here to post :) With a bit of nudging from Stacey Kingman I really need to get a tad better at updating this a bit more, don't I? I have been working on so many things, trying to complete them all, it's a bit crazy.

  But I have done an amazing job at starting Christmas shopping already. I'm all caught up on entering new inventory in the store.  (Make sure to check out the "Just In" Section, lots of new stuff in today) Now I'm trying to do some photoshoppin' before it gets to close to Christmas because my niece got married last summer, and I still have not finished editing all the photos I took. So, I thought I'd surprise her and her husband with a "My Publisher" Book and also prints of her wedding at Christmas.  I know she saw a lot of the photos I took and really liked them so I better get in gear.  I also want to do a Pub. book for Pat and Jim and also Jakob and Blythe's dad which I did for last year because he doesnt see them that much.  This way I share in a book all the photos I have taken of them in a year.  I wish I had gotten it done earlier though, I had a 50% off coupon......sigh.

and I can't leave out this photo from CKC Seattle with Paula, Jen and Kristin.  Had the best time with you girls, even if you were sneaky while I was sleeping :)
